New Case Study: Partner Chooses Jungo for SmartBox Gateway
Partner Communications, the Israeli wireless telecommunications service provider that has the local license for the Orange brand, has chosen Jungo's OpenRG residential gateway middleware for its new SmartBox home gateway. The gateway supports the world's most advanced wireless network standard (802.11n) in addition to home media sharing and advanced VoIP capabilities including integrated DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications), multi-line calling, and hijacking between mobile and fixed line. |
Partner's SmartBox deployment involved Jungo as the software vendor in partnership with a hardware vendor and a local logistics company. Jungo took a leading role, managing the gateway development and deployment process from start to finish and taking full responsibility for technical, support and project related issues. Together with Jungo Partner met its goal of introducing a new portfolio of services, using an advanced and customized gateway, in a tight timeframe.
